Who else is aware of this type of genre. Music based out of punk music and sludge metal. Amazing bands to come from here. Usually DIY with great views in politics. Epic buildups, great riffs, intelligent lyrics and even some based on concepts found in books.

I would love to meet others who enjoy this type of music.
